Photographic Group - 2008
During the winter months there are lectures, slide shows, course workshops and demonstrations on Wednesday nights at the Dublin International Youth Hostel, where there is a well-equipped darkroom. From May to September, the group organises a weekly evening walk in the greater Dublin area, giving the members the opportunity to get practical photographic experience as well as some mid week exercise and fresh air.
Membership fee includes monthly mailing of the groups programme including Sunday Hikes which are an ideal way to get out and about. There are two levels: Easier and Moderately Hard. The routes tend to be in the greater Dublin and Wicklow areas. For information send a SAE to head office.
Subscription for 2008 is €20. Please note that membership of An Óige is a prerequisite for joining the photographic group.
Membership charges for An Óige are as follows: Over 18s - €20. Under 18s - €10.
Please note all Wednesday night functions take place in Room 102, Dublin International Hostel, 61 Mountjoy Street, Dublin 7. Bus No's 10, 38 and 120 from city centre to the door. Hostel has a large carpark.
