This modern Kerry hostel is located in a truly breathtaking corner of Ireland and is the most Westerly hostel in Europe.

Dún Chaoin is in Ireland's Southwest, in the Province of Munster and in Co. Kerry. It is the most westerly point on the Dingle Peninsula and is located on Slí Choca Dhuibhne (the Dingle Way) and near Mt Brandon, Ireland's second highest mountain. It is an Irish-speaking (Gaeltacht) area and regularly has students coming from around the country to the area to learn the language.

The spectacular views of the Blasket islands, the rugged cliffs which make up the coastline, the picturesque, narrow, winding pathway leading to the pier and the splendid sunsets are featured in many calendars, postcards and tourist brochures each year.

This is also a great area for whale and bird watching!
