It features some bedrooms built in a mezzanine fashion while some rooms are en-suite. Twin, 4 bedded and 6 bedded rooms will await your stay with breath taking views (overlooking the Poison Glen and Errigal Mountain)
The hostel features all the usual characteristics of a top rated hostel including a large comfortable common room with plasma TV, a cosy room, internet access, self catering kitchen and more. Energy saving devices such as wood burning stoves have been incorporated into the building.
'Just a note to say my wife and I stayed in your new hostel ie Errigal on Sat and Sun nights last. Congrats on what you have produced - an excellent product. Karl and Andrea made us most welcome. We were truly GUESTS and made to feel it`s our home from home ! We will be back for more and also spreading the good news' Brendan & Attracta Roche, Ireland, July 2007
'It is our Dream Hostel, Errigal' Tess Towell
'We stayed last week in Errigal. What a beautiful hostel!. We were bowled over. The Errigal Hostel looked more like a hotel than a hostel.
Facilities were great, but your greatest asset of all are the wardens Karl and Andrea and their staff. Their hospitality, welcome, knowledge of things to do, nothing was too much to ask. Their friendliness and welcome would be hard to find anywhere else. They are national treasures.' Evelyn Forde
Just to let you know that we enjoyed our prize by spending two nights at Errigal: most impressed especially by the friendliness and helpfulness of Karl and Andrea! What a contrast to its predecesser. Even the weather was good, and after staying there over the past 27 years, I finally climbed Errigal. A truly memorable weekend'. Peter Cliff-Monthly E-zine competition winner
